System Support Engineer

Icicle is looking for an L2 Technical Support Engineer who can be a motivated self-starter and self-learner, possess strong customer service and technical problem-solving skills; and be someone who embraces challenges.

What we are looking for

  • Overall experience of 3+ years of experience in Application Development and Cloud infrastructure maintenance support
  • Extensive experience of minimum 2+ years in incident management and Escalation process
  • Prior experience in troubleshooting App/Infra/Network issues
  • Good understanding of AWS/Azure Cloud systems
  • Working experience in using Apple app-store and Google Play store
  • Ability to learn and follow defined support and root-cause analysis processes.
  • Increasing ability to solve practical problems without assistance and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited information may initially exist.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, hands-on, or diagram form.
  • Assess and understand customer needs and identify resolution recommendations
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer service skills
  • Willingness to work in rotational based 24X7 Shifts.

What you will do

  • Gather critical data points to effectively prioritize incoming tickets
  • Assess and understand customer needs and identify resolution recommendations
  • Reproducing issues in-house and responding back in a timely manner.
  • Provide day-to-day system administration support to assigned systems
  • Manage, develop (as needed), test and implement new deployments of systems
  • Maintain system documentation
  • Establish and monitor User Identity lifecycle
  • Provide technical support to end-users and team members
  • Monitor servers for performance and maintain system environment according to industry best practices
  • Provide on-call support for the systems administration group
